Ford Fusion - Techky Cars

Ford Fusion the mid-size sedan gets a mild-refresh for 2019. The 2019 Ford Fusion is available in several appealing configurations but we like the Fusion SE. Just above the base-level S, the SE has an impressive amount of standard equipment and several engines to choose from. Ford's new Co-Pilot360 Assist system is available on the SE and it includes adaptive cruise control and voice-controlled navigation. The SE also gets dual-zone climate control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and Ford's excellent Sync 3 voice controls. For engines at the SE level, we recommend upgrading to either the 1.5-liter or the 2.0-liter turbocharged choice.

Ford will offer its new Co-Pilot360 Protect driver-assistance system across all trim levels of the Fusion, taking a cue from competitors like Toyota that make safety systems standard. Co-Pilot360 Protect includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot warnings, lane keep assist, a rear backup camera, and automatic high-beam headlights. Upgrading to the optional Co-Pilot360 Assist adds adaptive cruise control that works down to a full stop. Show these Features in Details Below.

Ford Fusion 2019 Features :

1)Auto High-Beam Headlamps:

We’ve all been there, Heading into a pitch-black stretch of road and having to turn on the high beams then forgetting to turn them off again as oncoming traffic approaches. Now, unlit roads, dark peripheries, and other low-visibility situations don’t have to catch you off guard.
Auto high-beam headlamps can sense poor lighting conditions and switch on to light your path ahead.
They even sense oncoming headlights and dim automatically so you don’t have to worry about blinding other drivers. So you can keep your focus — and both hands on the wheel.

2)Lane-Keeping System:

It happens. Maybe you’re caught up listening to your favorite podcast or need your morning latte, but you’ve wandered a little too close to the edge of your lane. Luckily, the Lane-Keeping System can help you stay in your lane, even during a moment of distraction. This smart feature scans your vehicle’s position between the lines in the road ahead and can alert you if you’re starting to edge out of your lane. Having trouble staying on track? After you’ve drifted a few times, you’ll see a coffee cup icon, letting you know it’s time to take a break.

3)SiriusXM® Satellite Radio:

The 2019 Fusion equipped with satellite radio comes with a 6-month All Access audio trial that gives you over 150 channels, including all kinds of commercial-free music, plus sports, news, comedy, and entertainment.
You can also stay in the know while on the go with a 5-year subscription to SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link® services on new vehicles equipped with the optional Navigation System. Get detailed traffic and weather information, including ski conditions, fuel prices, sports scores and much more.

4)BLIS® with cross-traffic alert:

Available BLIS (Blind Spot Information System) with cross-traffic alert uses radar to identify a vehicle detected in your blind spot and alerts you with an indicator light in the appropriate exterior mirror. Cross-traffic alert also uses radar to watch for traffic behind your vehicle as you’re slowly backing out of a parking spot or driveway. If cross-traffic sensors detect a vehicle approaching from up to 15 yards away, you will be audibly and visually alert.

5)Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB):

We should all drive defensively, but sometimes other people’s lack of attention can create a hazard. This feature scans the road ahead and can alert you to potential collisions with vehicles or pedestrians detected in your path. If an impact becomes imminent and you don’t take corrective action, the brakes can apply automatically. But don’t worry—they’ll only activate if they’re needed.

6)Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go:

Few driving situations can feel as tedious as stop-and-go traffic. Enter Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Stop-and-Go. You can think of it as next-level cruise control. Not only does ACC help you keep pace on your journey, but it also slows down your vehicle if the traffic ahead has stopped or slowed. As soon as things clear, you'll resume your set speed. Auto Start-Stop technology automatically cuts off the engine when you don't need it. Like when you're waiting at red lights or slogging through stop-and-go rush-2-hour traffic. The engine is automatically and virtually seamlessly reactivated when you step on the gas.

7)Enhanced Active Park Assist:

Never pass up a potential parking space again. Available Enhanced Active Park Assist makes it easy to nail an impressive park time after time — even in tight parallel or reverse perpendicular spots. All you have to do is activate, shift, accelerate and brake while your vehicle takes care of the rest. This features also offers Park Out Assist with side-sensing capability so you can confidently navigate out of a spot when someone's parked too close to you.

8)Ford Co-Pilot360:

a)Ford Co-Pilot360™ is an advanced suite of driver assist technologies. This system includes:
b)Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) – the system can apply the vehicle’s brakes to help avoid slower vehicles ahead.
c)BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) – can help warn drivers of vehicles in their blind spot
d)Lane-Keeping System – helps drivers keep vehicle inside of its lane
e)Rear view camera – allows drivers to see what’s behind their vehicle while reversing
f)Automatic high-beam lighting

Engine:

There are three available EcoBoost®  Engines: The 1.5L, the 2.0L and the 2.7L on the V6 Sport. All three combine turbocharging, direct injection and twin independent variable cam timing (Ti-VCT) to enhance performance and efficiency. Each engine provides direct fuel injection, paddle shifters and piston cooling jets for durability.

V6 Sport:

Even with vehicles outside of its own class, V6 Sport is still part of the conversation within the circle of European performance. The Fusion V6 Sport has a powerful 2.7L turbocharged EcoBoost®  engine that kicks out 325 horsepower which is best in class, with 380 lb.-ft. of torque and standard AWD.

Fusion Energi Plug-In Hybrid With EV Mode:

The Fusion Energi plug-in hybrid has three modes that let you choose gas, electric or a combination of both. Auto EV mode uses plug-in power when possible and switches to the gas engine when needed. In EV Now mode, the vehicle operates mostly using plug-in power. The EV Later mode saves plug-in power for future use. There’s also the convenient MyFord® Mobile* app and the myfordmobile.com website where you can monitor and schedule charging for your vehicle from just about anywhere to help you extend your battery range. The total driving range on a full charge and full tank of gas are an EPA estimated 610 miles.

Verdict:

The all-new Ford Fusion facelift 2019 with its dynamic looks, well-equipped safety features, and the improved drivability is the perfect car for your daily city driving. fusion comes with lots of features and a great improvement but fuel economy is a concern on that because this car is not a fuel economy car so when it is launch in India it will change the Engine to increase the fuel efficiency so overall it's a great car and we will wait to launch in India.
